Mr. Ferrell has 10 years of experience in transportation engineering including 2+ year with MDOT and 5+ years with another consultant. Mr. Ferrell currently serves as Project Manager overseeing projects in the Transportation Engineering Department for Solid Civil Design, LLC. He sees that the design submitted to clients is technically accurate and within schedule. His responsibilities include ensuring each project has a defined project plan which includes as a minimum the communication plan, design criteria, and schedule of deliverables. He concurs in all major design decisions in conjunction with the client and engineer manager. He maintains effective communication with clients, provides quality control, provides adequate project team staffing and monitors and reviews project progress. In Mississippi, Mr. Ferrell designed and managed a number of roadway projects for MDOT including: MS 463, Madison County; US 98, Marion County; US 61, Bolivar County; US 61, Wilkinson County; Interstate 55, Pike County; and US 35, Smith County. In Alabama, Mr. Ferrell designed and managed a number of roadway projects for ALDOT and other clients including: SR 261, Shelby County; I-459 Preliminary Design, Jefferson County; South Sauty Creek Bridge, Marshall County; Goose Shoals and Cowpen Creek Bridge, Lauderdale County; Maxine Bridge over the Locust Fork of the Warrior River, Jefferson County; Dickey Springs Bridge over Shades Crest Creek, Jefferson County; US 82, Pickens County; SR 118, Marion County; US 82, Tuscaloosa County; Oxmoor Valley, Birmingham City; and TOPICS, Jefferson County. |
